On the very end of Kiawah Island there is a place that we paint only in low tide. It was a challenging morning for the wind was strong and the air was cold ,but the tide was low. sold

Fall Back.

On our last day of the painting workshop in Kiawah we were greeted with a day of warmer weather and an extra hour to sleep. Our week centered around the idea of how to paint subtle shifts of color , value, and intensity . Ian Roberts ,our master teacher strongly suggested we feel from the inside instead of just recording what is happening on the outside. Thanks Ian for an inspiring week!gift
