My Eyes Have Seen The Glory

                       Still loving the Song Theme.    This is a painting inspired by the  book ,  Roll Jordan Roll.    The photographs are by  one of my favorites, Doris Ulmann.   I did my initial  drawing with a  paint brush attached to a stick so that my lines would stay loose and gestural.  Decided to keep the original lines and   monochromatic pallete with a few  hits of light paint .    Hoping your Sunday is full of Glory!

       Inspired by Andre Derain " The Sunken Path".        While dodging some rain drops in Appledorf . England I found myself in a small garden connected to the village church.
