The Organist The life of "The Organist"! I am finally content with the final version. I thought the third version was flat , didn't like the colors, and had problems with the organist in the middle. I took the painting put it upside down and repainted thinking only about values structure. It usually works for me. Onward!

                                                    Took a photo of St. Patricks from the roof tops.  My intention was to simplify the shapes in layers and add texture.  The pallet was complementary of blues and oranges.  Thanks Brent!

                       One of our favorite Thurs models comes to our sessions overflowing with confidence. I feel much better knowing I am the one behind the easel and not in the hot seat of posing.  Always grateful to our models.

           A friend came over to visit my studio and found these two small paintings in my reject pile.   She took them home framed them beautifully and simply.   Saved by my friend who saw  beauty where I was seeing judgement.
