My Last Hymn With My Mother.

                                                This painting was inspired by Mrs. Germans Funeral.   Every Dec. Mr. and Mrs. German delivered a tin container of delicious chocolate chip cookies.   Her name was taped to the bottom of the tin so that the container was properly  returned .   If her container was not returned you were crossed off the cookie list.     Returning  the round empty tin for the anticipation of next years chocolate chip cookies was always a pleasure ,because  it meant we could sit in her living room and enjoy  our annual conversation about life.
