Sunflowers and a Chair
This painting is in the Sullivans Island Plein Air window at Saks. It is located on Market Street , Charleston SC. If you visit the window let us know how you like the display. We plan to update the paintings monthly. sold
I love it, these sunflowers and reflections. I can tell you were inspired. The muse lifts us up when we least expect it. All we have to do is be there when it happens.
I am a native of Charleston , South Carolina. My early artistic expression was through the lens of a camera where it was a passion to capture the unique expressions of the human spirit. That passion is still alive , but through paint brush, ink, and oils. I am most inspired when painting from observation of life and nature.
I am in my third year at The Art Academy University online MFA. My classes have challenged and inspired me more than I ever imagined. I am in my fifth year of being a member of The Charleston Artist Collective online gallery. It has been a great experience to be with a local group of artist who stretch with the monthly themes all the while giving back to our community a percentage of our sales. It is also a pleasure to be showing in a new gallery in Charlottesville, Va. with a talented group of artist from around the country.
